How to pick your C5 Corvette Headlights:

     C5 Corvette Headlights were manufactured with some interesting nuances and updates to design over their production. When replacing your headlight assemblies with original used Corvette parts you need to know a couple of things. Specifically, there are two different versions of the C5 Corvette headlight. An early design which fits 1997-1999 and a late design which fits 2000-2004.

     The easiest way to tell the difference in headlight assemblies is the number of holes on the bracket which bolts to the frame. For 1997-1999 this bracket only has two holes, and for 2000-2004 this same bracket has 3 holes. The headlight motors are another give away. 97-99 have full steel casings which are a bit larger, while 00-04 have part steel part composit casings.
